Living with a combination skin is more like a struggle; some areas of your skin are oily and some other areas dry. I understand your pain, and which is why I put together this article, so I could share with you all my skincare products and routines I used to balance my combination skin. One thing though, you need to be prepared to give it the time. Yes, your skin deserves being giving the time and attention to look right.
I did lots of researches on combination skin and different ways to balance combination skin. I tried lots of ways, but it seemed like my skin wasn’t improving. During my cause of research, I also found out that combination skin can be inherited from our parents. Or through using harsh products can also cause a combination skin. Now I know the reason why all the products I was using wasn’t doing any good; I was using toxic and harsh products on my face. Rather for the face to get better, I discovered I was poisoning it the more.
Not long ago, I found out that using organic natural products does the magic and ever since I have been using natural organic products, I have seen wonders. Therefore, to help you succeed in the battle against combination skin, I urge you to read on for my skin care routine:
The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning and before I go to bed in the night is cleansing my face. I use a natural organic cleanser like purifying Honey Oil Cleanser from Pure Tropix that costs $15 to wash my face and sometimes, I just go for pure natural substances like olive oil, coconut oil and so much more. Most people think that using this oil will make your face oilier and so shining, but on the contrary, using natural oils would remove all your skin impurities, makeup, and dirt without leaving your skin feeling greasy.
I also use a soft-bristled brush to clean my skin a little bit. Please do not use a hard brush as it could cause damages to your skin, and I m sure you don’t want to damage your skin at all.
Do not forget to take lots of water. No matter how much treatments and products you are using on your skin, you need to realize that change comes from within. So you need to take lots of vegetables, fruits, and water if you want to balance your combination skin. Water not only keeps you sufficiently hydrated, it also serves as toxin removal from your vital organs.
After I cleanse my skin, I exfoliate my skin. Although not everyone likes exfoliating their skin, I believe that exfoliating our skin sheds off the dead skin, lessen oily skin, unclogs pores and also makes the rough, dry and flaky skin feel and look gentle. I love exfoliating mainly because of that little tingling sensation it brings. I use natural products like Agave Lime Salt Scrub from pure tropix that costs $12 to exfoliate my skin. I like this pure tropix salt scrub because it is all natural and organic. I hate harsh products now having discovered the genesis of my skin troubles.
I never forget to moisturize, for this purpose, I find Pure Tropix Exotic Face Moisturizer comes very handy and useful and ever since, it has been my favorite organic moisturizer. I love it because of it is Antioxidants. It also has skin replenishing and skin restoring ingredients. What I love it most for is that it helps lessen the excess oil of the skin and improve dry areas. It also has anti-aging properties.
Apart from using my favorite moisturizer, I love taking it entirely natural by using coconut oils, olive oils and so much more. Trust me; your skin would thank and reward you for giving it all the natural products instead of using all those harsh chemicals that will nearly break your bank in price and destroy your skin.
You should never forget to remove your makeup before going to bed. I know there would be lots of time where you would be so lazy to remove your makeup, but trust me you can still gather enough strength to remove your makeup. I use cotton wool and olive oil to remove my makeup, my DIY makeup removal is so soft on my skin and leaves my skin smooth and firm after I remove my makeup. I also love it because it is organic and natural. If you do not like the face of makeup removal, you can go 100% natural by using natural products like coconut oil, almond oil and so much more. All you need to do is get a cotton pad, pour a little oil in it and use it in cleaning your face all round; this way your face will be so smooth and fresh.
After cleaning, hydrating and exfoliating your skin, you should stay away from UV lights. UV rays harm the skin and no matter the treatments and products you are using on your skin if you don’t stay away from UV lights they won’t work. I am not unmindful of vitamin E, but keep it minimal and avoid over exposure to the sunlight.
Thinking sunscreen? You need to be careful!
I will not advise you to use the harsh sunscreen as they can also destroy your skin. You can go for natural oils like avocado oil, almond oil, peanut oil, sesame oil, coconut oil, cottonseed oil, olive oil and soybean oil. These oils are not just 100% natural and organic, but they are natural sunscreens.
And that is my skincare routine for combination skin; I hope you like them and find them useful. I would recommend you to use the products I mentioned in the article, I have used them, and I have seen astonishing results.
The products will not only work on balancing your combination skin, but it will also prevent aging and makes your skin looks fresh, healthy, soft and smooth. You will notice your skin elastin rejuvenating and the supple will become more pronounce and glows natural.
